I am not very flexible, is that ok?

Of course it's ok. 

​

Many of us could not even touch our toes before synchro. 

 

In fact, flexibility is not a requirement for synchro but it does help. Particularly once you start progressing a bit more. But we have specific flexibility sessions to help with that!

I can't swim very well, does that matter?

That's no problem.

 

A lot of people think they need to be amazing swimmers to do synchro. But that's a myth!

 

You only need motivation, positivity and be able to float! We can teach you the rest. 

I am not very gracious and have no rhythm!

No need to worry there!

 

If you like music and you know how to count in time you'll be fine!

Do I need a nose clip?

It is strongly recommended to have one after the first few sessions.

 

In order to progress your skills and be able to go upside down without all the water going up your nose it's pretty important!

​

Nose clips can be purchased through the club.

What do I need to bring with me to the sessions?

For land sessions you need something comfortable and stretchy so you can move and stretch freely.

What happens on grading days?

You first go through a splits assessment. This is followed by a pool assessment of 12 figures. 

​

Please remember to print and/or bring your Log Book with you.
